Featured on the cover of the May 2013 issue of Triple the Focus, Kamila gave a sneak peek of what readers can expect in the way of diet and excise tips.
She followed up in the July issue explaining to readers how to calculate their magic number. Of Kamila's contribution, Editor-in-Chief Stacey Bethel remarks, "I was impressed by Kamila's professionalism coupled with her passion for healthy living when we featured her in the May issue.
Fitness is a lifestyle and I wanted someone who lives by that philosophy to show and/or explain to our readers how they can achieve that. Kamila fit the bill. With her expertise, I believe our readers will benefit greatly from her knowledge and I am excited to be able to add that element to the magazine."
Kamila adds, "Diabetes, high blood pressure, hypertension and cancer are the leading causes of death among adults in the Caribbean-problems all stemming from obesity. Through my monthly features I hope to stimulate readers to become more health conscious, fitness oriented and craving an overall sense of wellness. Being fit is a way of life and no better way to embrace it than being informed about life changing tips on various topics each month. Triple the Focus has such a diverse, responsive and committed audience with an impressive readership-I am honored and thrilled to be the newest member of the team!"

Her strong background in long-format television program development led her to take this compelling story to the screen. She executive-produced a pilot trailer in October 2011 and is now in negotiations for the series with networks and sponsors.
Shortly after completion of the pilot, Kamila departed for California to attend UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and has now completed the Master's program.
In addition to her monthly contribution in Triple the Focus, she is currently writing her first book, working on several long television format and new media projects, hosting and producing Jamaica's first Real Estate show Home Sweet Home which airs on TVJ and is the new host of popular Jamaican TV show, The Wray and Nephew Contender.
