Orisha Sound Inks Production Deal For New Reality TV Series

Orisha Sound, the breakthrough international instrumentalist, has recently inked a deal to begin production on a new reality series about her life and struggles in the music industry. This will be broadcast on US based Punch TV (Direct TV Network). The show, which is called Project O, will be Executive Produced by Marvin Williams (of Big M Entertainment) and Black and Yellow Entertainment.

Production was scheduled to begin in mid August with the intention to produce 13 complete half hour episodes. The first season will be filmed in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami in the United States and Kingston, Jamaica. While working on her new TV show, Orisha Sound continues to promote singles from her latest album, CUPID, released by RBC Records.

Three singles released from the album currently has videos rotating on Vevo and MTV2 as well as on Hype, RETV and CVM Plus in Jamaica. The single Embrace IT - a duet with international Reggae star, Sizzla Kalonji has reached number one on both CVM and Hype TV charts. Having now officially released the video for “Sunshine Lady” which features Wayne Daniel, Orisha Sound and her marketing team are hoping this song will also top the charts.

Despite already having a full schedule, Orisha Sound still finds time to record new music with her Jamaican producer, Shel K of Springwata Production, as they hope to release a full length reggae album by the end of the year. The new reggae album will feature the likes of Beenie Man and other well established Jamaican artists.
