World Clash R.E.S.E.T. will take over Queens, New York on Saturday, October 12, 2013, creating an environment where competitive impact and excitement skyrocket to another atmosphere! The ground breaking sound system competition, which reigns as the industry’s most coveted, visible and commercially successful sound clash is already creating an immense buzz among fans with its diverse and explosive lineup, consisting of World Clash newcomers, King Addies, Sky Juice/Metromedia, Soul Supreme, Jazzy T./Renaissance and returning sounds, Mighty Crown, Fire Links and LP International. This intense battle of 7 hard hitting sounds with something to prove is destined to rattle Queens. Additionally, R.E.S.E.T. will offer fans a unique opportunity to witness juggling and clash sounds on a level playing field.
R.E.S.E.T. is Irish and Chin’s current iteration of the epic World Clash. It’s a movement, a mind set and a strategy, which not only places juggling and clash sounds on the same playing field, but also supports the admission of both 45’s and dub plates in the clash. To reignite the excitement and give all sounds a fair chance to grace the stage of World Clash and other prominent clashes (regardless of dub collection), R.E.S.E.T. is essential. If the industry continues to follow the trend of solely allowing BIG DUB sounds to participate, diversity of sounds and interest of fans will further diminish.
R.E.S.E.T. will thrill thousands on Saturday, October 12, as it will modernize the arena, while preserving tradition. Without question, the competing sounds will need to exhibit talent, strong performances and super music selections/knowledge to win over fans in this diversified clash.
