Mighty Crown Headlines Top Reggae Music Festivals in Europe

The summer is sizzling and so is Mighty Crown, as the Japanese sound heated up Europe during the month of August, headlining the continent’s largest Reggae music festivals. Mighty Crown delivered rock solid, Reggae and Dancehall-infused performances before thousands of raving festival goers during this impressive leg of their popular “Driving Force Tour,” appealing to loyal fans and gaining the utmost respect of new followers.

Offering fans a genuine perspective of sound system culture is always a priority for “The Far East Rulers.” It’s the true-to-form, intense experience that audience’s crave.

“Festivals in Europe are all about energy…straight stage show vibes,” says Masta Simon, co-founding member of Mighty Crown. “People came to have fun, so we made it our duty to give audience’s the ‘full hundred’.” Co-founding Mighty Crown member Sami T adds, “You have to play tunes that work. The hype Dancehall tunes can work, but European audiences truly appreciate foundation and One Drop Reggae music.”

“The Far East Rulers” boasted 11 high profile dates on this leg of the “Driving Force Tour.” The champion sound spread their intense music vibes in many countries throughout Europe with energetic sets boasting an array of selections, which captured the undivided attention of crowds sometimes upwards of 30,000 people.

Whether starring on such prominent events as France’s Reggae Sun Ska Festival, Belgium’s Reggae Geel Festival, Portugal’s Sudoeste Festival or Italy’s Mamanera Reggae Boom Beach Festival/Sicily Music Village Festival and Spain’s Rototom Sunsplash Festival, Mighty Crown was an undeniable hit. Promoters and fans alike are already seeking future performances by Mighty Crown.

Mighty Crown indicates that all of the festivals they appeared on were crowded and well orchestrated. The sound hails Mamanera Reggae Boom Beach Festival (a sound system-based dancehall style festival in Lecce, Italy), the Sicily Music Village Festival and the 20th edition of Rototom Sunsplash as their most climactic experiences.

“The Far East Rulers” conclude that Reggae Geel and Rototom Sunsplash had the largest crowds. Mighty Crown’s “Driving Force Tour” kicked off in the spring. Amassing over 50 dates on this epic tour, “The Far East Rulers” have solidified themselves as one of the industry’s most active and visible sounds. The high demand for Mighty Crown is starting to rival that of an artist.

While the sound plans to return to Europe in late November, all current efforts are being invested in their anticipated return to “sound clash.” Fans can’t wait to see Mighty Crown return to the arena on Saturday, October 12, 2013, when they grace the World Clash R.E.S.E.T. stage for the first time in 6 years. Long live “The Far East Rulers!” There is no stopping this dynamic sound.
