Another MOBO Award for Sean Paul

Reggae/Dancehall superstar, Sean Paul, has managed to once again emphasize his status as an acclaimed international act when he topped a quality nomination pool to walk away with the Music of Black Origin Award (MOBO).

Sean Paul was being handed the MOBO award for the third time as he continues to expand his fan base and ultimately his International appeal.

The Grammy-winning deejay was up against stern opposition in fellow musicians and well known hit-makers in order to cop the award.

Also mominated for the award were fellow Jamaican acts such as the ever growing in popularity Popcaan, the singing sensation Tarrus Riley and the most recent cross-over Dancehall artiste to make his mark internationally, Mavado. The pool was completed by Stylo G also of Jamaican heritage but based in the UK.

Sean Paul copped the award over a very strong nomination pool due to his recent string of hits from the album Tomahawk Technique including the popular collaboration, How Deep Is Your Love featuring Kelly Rowland. Sean Paul is seeking to continue on the current wave of success and is set to release Full Frequency his sixth studio album which promises to be a dynamic set featuring local and international artistes such as Nicki Minaj, Two Chainz, Damian Marley and Konshens.
