Christopher Ellis - Left Unsaid‏

Christopher Ellis, the youngest son of the late legendary Jamaican vocalist and rocksteady pioneer Alton Ellis, reveals his brand new video “Left Unsaid,” directed by Mykal "Kush Asher” Cushnie and filmed in Jamaica.

The “gorgeously sung” tune, according to The FADER, is off the London-based singer’s debut EP Better Than Love on the Marley-owned label Ghetto Youths International. Ellis steps on the scene as one of reggae's most promising singers of this generation.

His debut EP Better Than Love, which dropped this past fall, is produced by Damian Marley and penned by Ellis himself. The 5-song love story is refreshing modern take on classic reggae, R&B and rocksteady.

COMPLEX chose the EP as one of the best albums in November 2013, raving that "not only does he hit each note with precision and feeling, but he knows how to bring a song to life through his subtly controlled phrasing. Such nuances are increasingly rare (and thrilling) to find in the Auto-Tune era."
