Tasha T Climbs The Charts With Real Talk


Canadian based Reggae artiste Tasha T is currently riding a wave of success with her sophomore album Real Talk. To date the 20 track album which features hard hitting tracks such as Bed of Fire, Mr. Preacher Man, Mouth a Matic and Prescription has surfaced on a number of charts.

Real Talk is currently number 10 on the New York Foundation Radio Network Top 20 Albums Chart. It is sitting in the number 14 spot of the South Florida Top 15 Albums Chart. It has also registered on DJ Gusma T’s Top 20 Reggae Albums Chart at number 18 in Italy. “The response to the album has been pretty favorable, the momentum is building. I hope that as we continue to promote it the sales will continue to increase.”

The lead single from the album called Bed of Fire, is also doing well on the charts. It is still the number one song on the Rebel Vibes Chart in Toronto, Canada. It has held that position for more than three weeks. Over in New York Bed of Fire is 26 on the Foundation Radio Top 30 Music Chart and in South Florida it is number 22 on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Chart. “Bed of Fire has connected with a lot of people in different places, fans from all over the world have been telling it is one of their favorite tracks on the album. 

We are getting ready to shoot a video for it in Jamaica,” said Tasha T. Tasha T is currently touring the US in support of her album so far she has done a number of dates in places such as New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Connecticut and Delaware. “The tour has been very good, I’m getting a lot of love and support from my fans in the US. It has been a very pleasurable experience.” Tasha T is also scheduled to perform at the Acana African Festival in Philadelphia on the on the 3rd of August and the Star Wave Organic Music Festival on the 23rd of August in Woodbury, Connecticut.
