K'Coneil Delivers During NYC Labor Day Weekend Events


Labor Day in New York is known for the celebration of the caribbean culture, spicy foods, beautiful costumes, Eastern Parkway parade and the invasion of Caribbean artists. It has become that time of year when many people from all over the world travel to New York expecting to see their favorite artists and new artists perform.

This year rising reggae-pop fusion artist K'Coneil was right there for all to see perform. Returning from Miami, where he was a guest at Dancehall icon Beenie Man birthday party, K'Coneil was ready for New York Labor Day festivities. With his current single 'Gyal a You' gaining momentum, K'Coneil was now back in New York for Labor Day and scheduled for several major events.

First up was Irie Jam Radio & JukeBoxx Records Love Situation Party, event inside Mingles Cafe, Bronx New York. Reggae singer Tarrus Riley aka Singy Singy was scheduled to headline his first show ever in Bronx, New York and K'Coneil was set to perform alongside Tarrus Riley. Coming out to a warm welcome from a jam pact crowd K'Coneil waisted no time to give them his sensational warm soothing charismatic performance.

"It was my second time performing in Mingles and what they say about the second time being better is true. The reception from the fans was warm and well received, I thank everyone for the support" said K'Coneil. Then he was off to the Garage Night Club where he was scheduled to perform alongside the King of the dancehall Beenie Man. As a true professional K'Coneil was ready and entertained the capacity crowd at The Garage Nite Club. Before wrapping up his weekend K'Coneil was added to the big annual concert known as 5 Alarm Blaze, which was held in New York City. 5 Alarm Blaze line had Mavado, new sensation Kranium, Bunji Garlin, QQ, Fayan Lyons, Lyrikal just to mention a few. 

For many that might have been the end of the Labor Day weekend but K'Coneil had to go on 'the parkway' to take in the carnival festivities with his fans and then he was off to Hot97 where he was interviewed by Bobby Konders. K'Coneil and his team is currently gearing up for several magazine features as well as building the momentum around his new single before shooting the video.
