Talented young artiste Chedda continues to show resilience in Jamaica’s extremely competitive dancehall arena. Last Saturday the deejay along with Stein and Aidonia ignited the lawns of the Hope Gardens with another fiery performance at the second staging of Summer Bar-raage hosted by Lawless Events and Alca Entertainment.
Taking the stage in the wee hours of Sunday morning, Chedda kicks off his set with the very popular ‘Fresh To Death’ featuring Chino, Laden and Nicky B. This was well received and aside from minor microphone hiccups it was onto ‘Hilly & Gully’ and ‘Cleanest’, both infectious numbers which the ladies were more than happy to get involve in as Chedda jumped off the staged and obliged.
He was soon joined on stage by Stein and J.O.P head honco Aidonia who wasted no time in taking the now charged crowd to higher heights as both reeled off a slew of hits from their extensive catalogue to close the segment. Other commendable performances of the night came from bad girl Timberlee who took a series of subliminal swipes done in jest at her male counterparts much to the delight of the over 800+ patrons in attendance.
There were also stints from human beat-box Mixing Lab and Magnum Kings and Queens Finalist Chozen.
With summer in full swing, Chedda and Stein are both currently busy in the studios working on several upcoming singles due for release soon, while Aidonia prepares for his upcoming European Tour.
