D.M.G – Determination + Motivation = Greatness

Born in the tropical island of Jamaica, D.M.G is a self-motivated artist with an undeniable passion for music. His love for music, which became clear to his family at the age of seven, would lead him on an interesting yet promising journey in the years to follow. As a child D.M.G came to display an interest in sports and music, but he took a very classic approach to performance by using household objects as musical instruments. After noticing this love for music, his parents made sure that he would begin lessons as soon as possible.

During his adolescent years D.M.G decided that he was interested in learning various instrument's. D.M.G found that this would prove to be an incredibly creative way for him to express himself in the future. After taking Jazz piano for two years in high school D.M.G decided that his devotion to music exceeded his love for sports, this decision helped shape his plans for the future.

Throughout his high school experience D.M.G became a local celebrity through the many talent shows which he had performed in. During his senior year of high school D.M.G took his talent to the next level by producing his first complete demo.

Upon graduating from school D.M.G also made sure that he became familiar with the business aspect of the music industry. He began forming influential relationships with legendary Reggae producers and musicians in the business such as: Stephen Marley, Eric Delisser and Dr. Paul.

In 2006 D.M.G & a group of dedicated business partner's formed a production & independent entertainment company called (Tropic Vibez Muzik). Tropic Vibez Muzik consist of Beat Programmers, Audio Engineer's, Dj's/Selecter's and Street promoter's. This young team of inspired people headed by D.M.G began producing music for well known, artists in South Florida.

Throughout the years of D.M.G'S growth in the local Music production scene he recorded voice blue prints written, for other local, or established artist to perform during their recording's. D.M.G was told by friend's & family that he should create his own songs. D.M.G never took these opinion's to heart, and shunned some of these idea's, but eventually the young Musician/Artist D.M.G had a change of heart .

D.M.G decided to restructure his vision. This young man was not at all a stranger to the mic though, so the transition was quiet smooth. With his versatile style, and his entertaining lyrics. He began creating his own music, From dancehall to roots reggae, soca to Hip-hop, D.M.G is a talented artist who will make a mark on the Caribbean & international music scene.

Although He is a young man, D.M.G knows exactly what he wants. When asked what his future plans are he says There is so much that I want to do in my career. I want to make music, ring tones, own a record company, do movie scores, video games but most importantly, my biggest goal is to win a Grammy award for my dad. He is the one who spawned my love and talent for music. He is an extremely talented musician who never got the opportunity.

There is no doubt that D.M.G has something great to offer to the world of music and entertainment. He is dedicated, hardworking, passionate and determined to achieve the dreams and goals which have been placed inside of him.
