Shalli’s Music Breaking Grounds Worldwide!‏

It’s very difficult to separate female singing sensation Shalli from her music. This self-assured songbird, based in Canada, is breaking grounds worldwide with her captivating music, which has left souls craving for more at every given opportunity. The singer is leading the way with her lyrics and looks and it seems only a matter of time before she imparts her infectious music on the local market.

Now promoting her newest single Show My Love, the ever-green songstress, dubbed as the ‘Princess of Island Pop’, said that the song displays her passion and unique musical style and is very optimistic about its future success. The single, produced by Bobby Chin of Black Chiney sound, was also sung in three different languages due to the strong contents it conveys.

Shalli, whose of Jamaican and Domican decent, and is also gearing up to release some new material in Europe, said “I believe a lot of it (my musical maturity) is natural, but without the right environment and nurturing of my talent I wouldn’t be where I am today.

“Showing love is so much easier than what people think … ‘Sing a song for you, open up a door, be a friend to someone new, and teach a child, let a child teach you.’ That’s what this song is all about. Anyone can do it, and if we all showed our love everyday, the world would be so much sweeter to live in.”

The singer also said that there’ll be a French-remix of the single, featuring Tiwony and another song titled I Just Wanna Fly, both are produced by D&H from France. Shalli also revealed that she’ll be releasing Feeling Inside, on a new riddim called Island Breeze. A video of it is also set to be release this spring.

While Shalli has enjoyed ample success in North America and Europe with her music, she’s content with reaping the same level of musical achievements throughout the Caribbean and in Jamaica, the place where it all started.

“Success has already been taking off for me in the Caribbean. My videos have been playing on all the major TV and radio networks. Jamaica audiences are no different than any other audience. They expect the best,” she said.

Shalli is a sweet combination of sass and sophistication. Her musical talents are often compared to the likes of Luther Vandross and Chaka Khan, who she idolizes a lot throughout her career development. Look out!
