Rippa Jackson Drops New Single‏

Looking to capitalize on the success of his hit single titled Help Someone, fast rising reggae singer Rippa Jackson recently dropped a brand new single titled Jah Save Me. The single was produced and arranged by Oral ‘Splicerr Ras’ Williams and released on the Hot Head Kulcha imprint.

A music video for Jah Save Me is currently in the works, parts of the video were shot recently in Kingston and Portmore, while the rest of it will be done in New York. According to Rippa Jackson the video will be completed and released before the end of March.

“We are looking forward to the release of the video for the new track; it should be completed and released before the end of next month. We are putting a lot of work into it; it’s going to be a very good video, one that really compliments the song. I know the fans are going to love it.”

Rippa Jackson recently wrapped up an eight week promotional campaign in Jamaica; while he was here he did a number of interviews on radio and TV. He also performed on a number of events.

“I was in the island for a while, during the visit I did some serious promotional works, I did interviews on stations such as FAME FM, NEWS TALK FM, HYPE TV and RETV. I also did some shows and I really touched the streets hard and promote the music in the dances, parties and the clubs. It was a really good experience and I am looking forward to returning soon to do some more work on the rock.”

Now that he is back in New York he will be focusing on the completion of his sophomore album, as well as the promotion of his music on that side of the globe. Help Someone is currently in the number 20 spot on the Jamaica Music countdown top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.
