KINGSTON, JAMAICA -- Andrew and Wada Blood are back from Manhattan, USA, where they alongside their father Junior Reid performed at friend, and international rapper, Cassidy's album launch.
Wada Blood says, "It was a great experience and a great opportunity to perform for the more hard core hip hop fans and they were loving it." Prior to their Manhattan performance, the duo also gave another showstopping performance at The Prince in New Jersey, featuring their singles Hustler For Life, Hustle Till The Day I Die, their crossover single, Irie and more.
On the local scene, the duo has also released several new singles, specifically, Just For Me Alone on the Red and Black riddim, produced by the NotNice label and One Blood with Beenie Man and Junior Reid on Beenie Man's latest 'Beenie Man and Friends' musical project.
"Just for Me Alone is for the ladies. For every song we do with a gangsta edge, we always try to do something for our other fans, like the females, and those overseas with songs like Irie. You can't forget that as an artiste and we always try to remember that," continued Wada.
Andrew and Wada Blood who came to the musical fore with a unique blend of hip hop and dancehall a few years ago after releasing Hustle Till The Day I Die - which quickly went on to become one of their earliest hits - have continued to carve their names in the industry as musical nonconformists. As part of their journey they have signed Blueprint Publicity & Promotions to conduct all aspects of their public relations and Jard Entertainment for all their concert bookings.
Andrew says, "We are just continuing to stay focused with our musical goals and continue to push our talents to the limit and we can't do that without a team and the support of the fans. So bless up to everybody who has joined us on our journey."
